Can we get the loan either from Andhra Bank or SBI to buy a site.?
I am employee of IT Company, can i get loan either from andrha bank or State Bank of Inida to buy a site(not a home). I believe that , they will give the loan only for houses.
I have applied a home loan from sbi, i have submitted all the documents required , still they are delaying it, and the customer service is horrible, as they never respond to the queries asked, as the services are pathetic ,,can any one help me for a loan,,? what do i do regarding this....
I wouldn't be taking any loans out from ANYONE here on yahoo answers because there are more scammers here than you can poke with a sharp stick. Go to another bank or even better a credit union because they are usually the best source of cheap loans with no nonsense.
Tax benefits for home loan?
Hi, I am planning to apply for a home loan for the construction of house.The only confusion here is that the property is registered to my mother.When I contacted SBI I was told that the property should be owned by me If I want the tax benefit.Here the thing is that my mother is completely dependent on me and I only will be paying back the EMI. But the HDFC people told me that it is very much possible to receive the tax benefit even if the property is owned by my mother.The reason told is that she can be included as a co-applicant. So please anyone tell me what is the real scenario and please tell me which one will be a better choice.SBI or HDFC (interest 9%)
The interest paid on the Housing loan is exempt up to Rs.1.5 lakhs per year and Principle paid on loan up to 1 lakh per year is exempt from tax. So totally Rs.2.5 lakhs benefit.. SBI is a old bank and may be strict in rules. HDFC is new bank and may be liberal in loans. Both are good banks. Regarding tax benefits, I suggest you to contact any C.A and take his advise. Consulting a C.A may be free for you if you approach him through some of your friends..
